Criminal Defense in all state and federal courts
Throughout his twenty-nine years legal career Attorney Robert Berke has focused his practice on criminal defense and civil rights. He has gained a reputation for success and aggressive representation at trial for clients throughout Connecticut and New York State.
Mr. Berke has been retained and has testified as an expert in Criminal Defense. Attorney Berke has taught seminars for the Connecticut Bar Association on Basic Criminal Law and Advanced Criminal Advocacy, and Violations of Probation, for the Greater Fairfield County Bar Association on Criminal Discovery, and has served as an instructor in a Paralegal Program on Civil Litigation, Torts, and Criminal Law.

Admitted to the Bars of the State of Connecticut, the State of New York, and the Federal District of Connecticut.
Awards
Silver Bullet Award, NRA, for obtaining a motion to dismiss on behalf of New Haven cab driver John Lutters, who possessed and discharged a handgun without a license in his cab when he was robbed and stabbed in the neck.
